**What is Store Scraping?**

Store scraping refers to automatically collecting product data from a website without direct access to its data source.

**How does it work with Stock Sync?**

* Stock Sync **does not support** custom data scraping from websites.
* Only [public connections](https://help.stock-sync.com/en/article/if-suppliers-on-shopify-wont-install-the-app-use-the-shopify-public-connection-oamfjf/) on Shopify can be used as an alternative to retrieve product data.
