# Does Stock Sync updates product in fulfilment or 3rd party app locations?

**Yes**, Stock Sync updates both the inventory and the fulfillment location. However, for fulfillment, it selects the location where inventory is marked as true (i.e., **inventory is set to "true"**). If no inventory is true at any location, the fulfillment location will appear greyed out and cannot be selected.

| For example: In the feed, you should select the location you want to update via Quantity Field > Smart Settings > Inventory Location. So, the location that displays it can be updated through syncX: Stock Sync. Those greyed out can't be updated.
