# How does Credit work?

* Credits are required to **add or import products ONLY**.
* A product with **multiple variants**, requires **one credit only**.
* To buy Credits, go to **Billing** in the sidebar and select **Buy Credit**.
* Credits **cost $0.01 per credit (or less with volume discounts)**, depending on the purchase amount, with options for small, large, and special volume purchases.
* Larger credit purchases offer significant discounts.
* When you upgrade your monthly plan and receive a **one-time** **25%** **free credits** based on your subscribed variant count. Use this credits to add or import products. 
* You can add **3 products without require any credits** to test the import.
* **Unused** credits **do not expire**.
