# How to create an XML Feed in syncX: Stock Sync?

### Step 1: Set up a new feed

Go to the **Stock Sync dashboard**.
Click on **Create New Feed**.

### Step 2: Choose the feed type

Select the feed type based on your requirements:
* **Add** - to add new products
* **Update** - to update existing products

### Step 3: Choose the connection type

Select where the XML file is hosted.
Supported XML connection types includes:
* Download URL
* FTP / SFTP 
* Other supported sources

### Step 4: Select the file format

* In the **File Format** section, choose **XML**.
* This tells Stock Sync to read and process the file as an XML feed.
