# How to update existing products without adding new ones ?

To prevent new products from being added:

1. Go to **Create new feed**.
2. Select **"Update existing products in store"**.
3. Ensure that the **product identifier** field (SKU, Barcode, or any field) is correctly mapped to match existing products in store.
4. Only fields mapped in the **Matching column (Step 2)** will be updated.
