# How to update the status field on my variants?

Status field is under **product level** IS NOT variant level, if you would like to set the product status as active, draft or archived. You can use the [Status Field](https://help.stock-sync.com/en/article/status-field-1d0wdus/?bust=1721728168132) to do it.
