# I keep getting the error: "Invalid file"

Stock Sync couldn't detect the file that was set up for those feeds. Therefore, it meant Stock Sync could not access the file that you specified.

**Reason**

* The source that connecting to doesn't have any inventory file or is invalid.
* This error mostly happens in online files, which the system couldn't detect with given detail.

**Solution**

* Please make sure that the file is correct.
* Required to check on their end before setting up the connection, whether able to retrieve the inventory data.
* Request the required supplier to give correct details of the link, path, and filename.
