# I keep getting the error: "Missing Inventory ID for Variant"

This error occurs when the **process is running** and a **new quantity field added** in the matching column section, causing the system to be unable to find the inventory data.
  
**Reason**

* When the process is running, add a new field as a quantity field in the matching column section.

**Solution**

* Please **run the process after completing all setup** of fields in the matching column section.
