# Product URL Field

Export the Product URL from your store using Stock Sync to easily map, reference, or share direct product links across external feeds and sales channels.

## How to Set Up Product URL Export

Go to **Stock Sync** → **Setup New Feed** / **Edit Feed** → **Step 2: Matching Column**

1. **Select Feed**: Choose your desired export feed.
2. **Map Field**: Click **Add more field** and select **Product URL** from the list of available export fields.
3. **Configure File Settings**: Set your preferred export file header/column name if required.
4. **Save and Run**: Click **Save Changes** and run the export process.

| Ensure that the product has already been published in your store so a valid live URL can be exported.

The Product URL field automatically retrieves and generates the full canonical URL of the published product.

## Key Rules & Technical Details

- **Live URL Requirement**: Unpublished products or draft items without a live handle may generate empty or incomplete URL strings during export.
- **Store Domain Reference**: The domain prefix depends on your primary domain settings in the source store configuration.

## Troubleshooting Steps

* **Issue**: Product URL field is returning empty values → **Solution**: Verify that the products are active and published on your online storefront, then re-run the export feed.
* **Issue**: The URL path uses a default domain instead of a custom domain → **Solution**: Ensure your custom domain is marked as the primary domain in your store's channel settings.
