# Published (Variant) level

The published (variant) field is mapped to **publish** or **unpublish** specific **column names** or **indexes from Shopify Store publishing**. 

There are a few settings for this field, which are:

# 1. Publish (variant)

Publish (variant) value indicator is for the **show**, **publish**, and **back-in-stock**. The value of 1 is inclusive of 1 and numbers greater than 1. By default, it is set to true. 

You can provide any indicator to indicate the given field. The product to be published must have a quantity greater than 1.

# 2. Unpublish (variant)

The unpublished value indicator will not be unpublished if the quantity is still available **unless force unpublished is enabled**. By default, it is using false.

You can provide any indicator to indicate the given field. In order to unpublish a product, its quantity must be set to 0 unless you enable the force unpublished option.

# 3. Force unpublished when quality is still available

By enabling the **toggle icon**, it will automatically be unpublished when the quantity is still available in the feed file.

| Other examples:
| i. If your cell is empty, you can use the value indicator to replace the empty cell.
| ii. It will auto-set the product as published or unpublished based on the quantity available. This is a granular feature compared to the auto publish all products or matching products within feed file.
| iii. You also can use 0, hide, unpublish, and out-of-stock as the value indicator.

# 4. Edit sales channel for publish

Select the sales channel you would like to publish to, to avoid publishing to all sales channels.
