# Update  products from WholeCell


To connect syncX: Stock Sync to this data feed, create an API App in WholeCell from the [API Apps Settings Page](https://www.wholecell.io/) and use the generated credentials. Instructions for [creating an API from WholeCell](https://help.wholecell.io/en/articles/6860909-connecting-wholecell-to-shopify) are available on this page.

1. Go to **New Setup** > Choose **Update existing products in store**.

2. Choose or search for the **WholeCell** template.

3. Fill in the **User ID** and **Password**.

3. Please enter **Username** and **Password** to proceed.

4. Enter the supplier's **inventory status** value.
  
5. Click Next to the **Matching Column** section.
  
These are the available fields that can be updated with Stock Sync.
