# Update SEO Page Title and description using Metafields

There are two methods to do it:

# 1. Using metafield

Map the metafield name to **title_tag** for the page title or **description_tag** for meta description.

# 2. Using SEO page title or SEO Meta description field

|| SEO Title and Description field is NOT supported in the Export.
|| Updating only the SEO page title reverts the SEO meta description to the product description. Updating only the SEO meta description reverts the SEO page title to the product title. Updating both simultaneously prevents these automatic changes.
