What features does Stock Sync support when connecting to WooCommerce?

Stock Sync supports integration with WooCommerce through the WooCommerce REST API. Below are the main capabilities and limitations when connecting your WooCommerce store.

Supported Features

  • Connect to WooCommerce using the WooCommerce REST API, requiring Store URL, Consumer Key, and Consumer Secret.
  • Import products into WooCommerce using Add Product feeds.
  • Update existing WooCommerce products using Update feeds, including updates to stock quantity, price, and other mapped fields.
  • Map product identifiers using supported WooCommerce fields such as SKU or Barcode/GTIN/UPC/EAN, as long as these fields are not duplicated in multiple mappings.
  • Perform scheduled synchronizations at defined intervals. Stock Sync can automatically run feeds at scheduled times.
  • Use Store-to-Store connections when the source is another Shopify or WooCommerce store.

Limitations

  • Live or real‑time sync is not supported for WooCommerce. Live sync is currently available only for Shopify‑to‑Shopify connections.
  • Stock Sync does not officially support third‑party WooCommerce plugins. If these plugins block the REST API, syncing may fail unless the plugin provides a way to bypass protection.

Technical Notes

  • WooCommerce permalinks must not be set to "Plain". Use “Post name” to ensure API accessibility.
  • Barcode/GTIN mapping works for both Add and Update feeds, but the field only appears as an identifier if it is not already mapped in the feed’s field mapping section.
  • Passwords are not required to connect Stock Sync to WooCommerce; only the API keys are needed.

If you require additional configuration details, refer to the WooCommerce setup instructions for creating API keys and connecting your store.
