# Why am I getting an error message stating "Value does not exist in provided choices [value, value]"?

Based on the above image, the error shows that **"Value does not exist in provided choices [value, value]".** You need to download the error list to see the error.


**Reason**

*   When the metafield validations are missing, an error message will be displayed.
*   The value was not added to the metafield validation in the Shopify admin panel.
    
**Solution**

*   Stock Sync will not added to the metafield validations, the values must be added on the metafield validation on the Shopify admin.
*   Add the validation in **Shopify admin > Settings > Custom data > Validations**
