Incoming Feed Filter

This option is available on Filter (Step 3) of Update & Add feed only. It is optional setting, its only use it when you would like to apply filter for the products to get added or updated in your store.

To use this filter there are a few guidelines:

  1. Column name/index can only be defined once.
  2. Include/exclude multiple keywords with commas as separators.
  3. Include/exclude keywords with wildcard support. eg, PRE*, *DO, *MIDDLE*

For the filter, the column name/index should be entered based on the value in the feed file. Below will be given few examples:

1. If you have a column name producttype and only want to update or add clothes. You should select the condition as Equal To.

2. If you have a column name vendor and you don't want to update or add Adidas. You should select the condition as Not Equal To

3. If you don't want to update or add all products with the value shoes in column 5. You should select the condition as Not Equal To

4. If you don't want to update or add all products with the value TAG A in column 4. You should select the condition as Not Equal To

5. If you want to use dynamic dates to update or add the products. You should select the condition as Contain.

6. If you want to update or add products that price greater than 50. You should select the condition as Greater than

7. If you want to match the starting value "comp" which is from this example "comp", "complete", and "computer". You should select the condition Start With.
8. If you want to match the ending value "less" which is from this example "123less", "234less", and "sleeveless". You should select the condition End With.

9. If you want to match any of the character values "un" which is from this example "sunny", "tuned", "bunny", and "guns". You should select the condition Contain.

10. If one of the cells has an empty value, incoming feed filter does not allow it to exclude. If you want to exclude it, you can select the condition contain and put value *
