1. Location

List of inventory locations available in store. It can used to update products to a specific location only. Stock Sync support multiple locations but each feed updates to a single location. Stock Sync cannot update multiple Shopify locations within the same feed; each feed must target one location at a time.

2. Auto add stock to location if not there (✔️  Update)

By default, Stock Sync will auto add product stock to a location even if the product was not stocked in that location. 

Disabling it, Stock Sync would not add the product to the location where it was not stocked. 

3. Important note about changing inventory locations

Changing the location in a feed updates inventory for the selected location only. It does not remove or move existing inventory from other locations.

If you need to move inventory from one location to another, you must:

• Run a feed to update the old location and set its quantity to 0.
• Then run or re-enable the feed for the new location to set the correct quantities.

This ensures inventory does not remain duplicated across multiple locations.

Additional note: If inventory continues to appear in the default location, it is because Stock Sync only updates the selected location and does not automatically clear quantities from the default or any other location. A separate update is required to set the unwanted location’s quantity to 0.
