Auto publish or hide and archive products

This option will be shown in the Advanced Settings (Step 4) of the Update Product feed. If the Published field is mapped, auto-publish and hide will be disabled. To enable it, remove the Published field from the Matching Column (Step 2).

This feature will help you to unpublish or archive when the stock level or quantity is zero. Moreover, it can publish live when it restocks or when stock comes back. To use this feature, enable Track Quantity under Quantity > Smart setting.

1. Auto Publish Products

It only publishes the product for the variant quantity greater than zero.

(a) No action: Don't make any changes

For example: If don't want to make any changes to publish the products you can select this as no changes.

(b) Matching products within a feed file: Auto publish all the matching products within the feed file but the variant quantity should be more than zero.

For example: Products will be automatically published if the quantity feed is greater than zero. For example, if a supplier updates the feed with five products having a quantity greater than zero, those five products will be published.

(c) All filtered products in store: Auto publishes all products in store which applied with filter if any one of the variants has a quantity of more than zero.

For example: To publish only two updated products, filter for those products and select all filtered products. Then, only those two products will be published to the selected sales channel.

(d) Manage sales channel: You can manage it by selecting which sales channel you would like to publish.

For example: You have two sales channels, TikTok and an online store. If you would like to enable the publish option for one of the sales channels, you can use this option to select it.

2. Auto archive products

It archives the product, when all variant quantities are zero in all locations, and the continued selling out of stock is disabled.

(a) No action: Don't make any changes

For example: If you don't want to make any changes to archive the products you can select this as no changes.

(b) Matching products within a feed file: Auto archive all matching products within the feed file and if the variant quantity is zero.

For example: Products will be automatically archived if the quantity feed is less than zero or equal to zero. For example, if a supplier updates the feed with five products having a zero quantity, those five products will be archived.

(c) All filtered products in store: Auto archive all filtered products in store if any one of the variants has zero quantity or less than zero included in all locations. Continue selling when out of stock should be disabled.

For example: To archived only two updated products, filter for those products and select all filtered products. Then, only those two products will be archived in the store.

3. Auto unpublish products

It unpublish the product, when all variant quantities are zero in all locations, and the continued selling out of stock is disabled.

(a) No action: Don't make any changes

For example: If you don't want to make any changes to archive the products you can select this as no changes.

(b) Matching products within a feed file: Auto unpublish all matching products within the feed file but the variant quantity is zero.

For example: Products will be automatically unpublished if the quantity feed is less than zero or equal to zero. For example, if a supplier updates the feed with five products having a zero quantity, those five products will be unpublished.

(c) All filtered products in store: Auto unpublish all filtered products in store if any one of the variants has zero quantity or less than zero included in all locations. Continue selling when out of stock should be disabled.

4. Auto unlisted products

It unlisted the product, when all variant quantities are zero in all locations, and the continued selling out of stock is disabled.

(b) Matching products within a feed file: Auto unlisted all matching products within the feed file but the variant quantity is zero.

For example: Products will be automatically unlisted if the quantity feed is less than zero or equal to zero. For example, if a supplier updates the feed with five products having a zero quantity, those five products will be unlisted.

(c) All filtered products in store: Auto unlisted all filtered products in store if any one of the variants has zero quantity or less than zero included in all locations. Continue selling when out of stock should be disabled.
