Harmonized System Code Field

If the feed file doesn't have any column as a harmonized system code and you want to apply all the harmonized system code as 603210 for all your products. You can use fixed value to set it.



Harmonized System Code known as HS Code is a description and coding system developed by the World Customs Organization (WCO)

It covers over 5,000 commodity groups, each identified by a six-digit code. The system is used by more than 200 countries as a basis for their own customs tariffs and for international trade statistics, learn more on HS Code


There is a setting for this field which is:


1. HS Code Prefix/Postfix



Shopify only accepts 6-digit Harmonized System Codes. To match codes with the prefix "000", define it as "000". For codes with postfix "0100", defined as "0100$"



For example: Prefix: In the feed file, HS Code with Prefix (A123768), so type as 'A'. Postfix: In the feed file, HS Code with Postfix (123768A), so type as 'A$'.
