Key Rules & Technical Details

Priority sequence: Price Conversion → Price Condition → Price Rounding

  • Market Requirement: The target market must exist in Shopify Admin before Stock Sync can update prices for it.
  • Combined Mapping Rule: Shopify API mandates that Markets - Compare at Price updates MUST be accompanied by a Markets - Price value in the same request.
  • Numeric vs Text Types: Use price_f or col#_f for numeric price evaluation; use price or col# for standard text matching.

Troubleshooting Steps

  • Issue: Markets Compare-at Price is not updating → Solution: Verify that Markets - Price is mapped in the same feed setup. Shopify blocks isolated compare-at price updates for markets.
  • Issue: Price condition rule is not applying → Solution: Ensure correct variable syntax is used (price_f for numerical comparisons, price for string operations).
  • Issue: Target market prices are not reflecting in store → Solution: Confirm that the market name and country codes configured in Smart Settings match the active market setup in Shopify Admin.
