If Suppliers on Shopify Won’t Install the App: Use the Shopify Public Connection
The Shopify Public Store connection method enables inventory retrieval from other Shopify stores, functioning as a scraping method.
Follow these steps to connect:
Click "Set up new feed," then select "Add new products to store" or "**Update existing products to store"** and continue.
Search for "Shopify Public Store"
On the feed settings page, replace the [store name] in the endpoint (URL) field with the desired Shopify store name.
Example:
The rest of the field just follows the template given.
Click "Next" to proceed to the Matching Column section, which is pre-filled.
Note: You cannot update the Cost, Barcode, or Inventory Quantity fields; only the Available and Not Available labels can be updated.
Once completed, click "Start process" to run it.
