Upload File connection method

Connect your feed using the Upload File method.


  1. Go to Setup New Feed > Choose Update/Add.

  1. Choose or search the  Upload File method to set up the connection.


  1. Click or Drop your file over the blue box there.


Upload file size is limited by your subscription plan; see the billing page for details. By default, its can be upload to 20mb. For larger files, use FTP or zip the file.



  1. You need to fill up the File Setting below as well. File Format can be set to Auto where Stock Sync auto-detects the file format or you can choose the type of file format that they attaching for the connection method accordingly.


File format that can set as CSV, XML, XLS, XLSX, JSON, .TXT, EDI, and HTML Table


If the uploaded file is compressed (.zip or .gz), then the file format must be chosen as Stock Sync doesn't auto-detect format in compressed files.



  1. By default, the auto file setting is enabled. If you want to change file encoding and first row header settings, you can disable it. Then can change your file encoding and first row header as you need. When the toggle icon is enabled, it will help the feed file that has the first row as a header. For example, SKU, Vendor, Description...



After uploading the CSV file, ensure that your file includes at least a Matching Column (such as SKU or NAME) and a Quantity column. In Step 2 of the feed setup, map SKU to the store product identifier and map the Quantity field to update stock levels. This allows Stock Sync to update inventory correctly during each run.
