What is EDI Format?
An EDI file follows one of several Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards and stores information in plain text format.
Example of EDI file
If your file looks like the image above, you can use this tool https://onlinetexttools.com/find-text-length to find the length of each text column.
Once you determine the length of the text column, you can then assign it to the corresponding column index.
The first column index will be mapped to numbers 1-35, while the second column will be mapped to numbers 36-48 due to its length of 12 characters (36+12=48)
Unfortunately, we do not support this standard EDI X12 846 format currently.
