How can I troubleshoot if I have the error list file provided?
If you have noticed any error list files in your activity log recently, it means there are some issues with the updates. You need to download the error list file to check what the errors are.
Once you download the file, you will see several types of errors. Below are some examples of errors and how to troubleshoot them.
It looks like there is an error related to the inventory item within the parent bundle. Please review the bundle product in your store and exclude it using the store product filter, or consider deleting and re-importing it. If you need to identify which products are affected, feel free to contact us for assistance.
The error message indicates that the inventory item is not stocked in that location or is not using the fulfillment service location. This error occurs because we do not support fulfillment service inventory locations. If you notice any of your products using this location, you can remove them or contact us to identify which products are affected.
When metafield validations are missing, an error message will be displayed. The value was not added to the metafield validation in the Shopify admin panel. Stock Sync will not be added to the metafield validations; the values must be added in the metafield validation on the Shopify admin. Add the validation in the Shopify admin under Settings > Custom Data > Validations.
The publishing error appears in the error list as "Publication does not exist or is not publishable" because the system is trying to push updates to all sales channels. It’s important to ensure that all the user’s sales channels are set to be publishable. If any channel is not publishable, an error will occur, and the product won't be published to all channels. However, it will still be published to the channels that have valid publishing settings. If one channel is non-publishable, only that specific channel won’t be updated, while the others will still publish successfully.
