How to schedule or automate the feeds in syncX: Stock Sync?

Set up automated execution schedules for your Stock Sync feeds to ensure your inventory, prices, and product data remain continuously updated without manual intervention.



How to Set Up Feed Automation


Navigation path: Go to App → Feeds → Feed Detail Page → Set automation


  1. Enable Automation: On the Feed Detail Page, click Set automation to open the scheduling drawer.
  2. Configure Frequency & Time: Select your preferred Schedule Frequency and Time using the interval options and clock icon picker.
  3. Save Settings: Confirm your settings to activate automated syncs for the designated feed.


You can set different automation times and schedules for each feed in your account.




Scheduling Options & Traffic Indicator


1. Account Timezone Configuration

Automations run according to your account's global timezone setting.


Go to App → Manage Account → Language and Timezone


Timezone settings apply globally across your entire account and cannot be changed per individual feed.


To adjust the run time for an individual feed, use the clock icon next to the Schedule Time field.


2. Utilizing the Traffic Indicator

Use the Traffic Indicator bar to identify busy and optimal execution time slots when scheduling your feeds:



  • Green: Low traffic and fast execution time.
  • Yellow: Moderate traffic and average execution time.
  • Red: High traffic and slower execution times.


If your store uses multiple scheduled feeds, set distinct start times for each feed instead of running them simultaneously.


Staggering schedules prevents long queue times during peak sync hours.


Separate schedule times eliminate feed clashes that could cause sync delays or failures.


3. Frequency Options & Interval Examples

The minimum sync frequency available depends on your current subscription plan (e.g., plans allowing syncs up to every 1 hour).




  • Run Every 8 Hours (3x Daily): Set Schedule Frequency to Hourly and specify an interval of 8. This executes the feed every 8 hours continuously, including weekends.
  • Run Every 12 Hours (2x Daily): Set Schedule Frequency to Hourly and specify an interval of 12.
  • Weekday-Only Syncing: Weekday-only (Monday–Friday) scheduling is strictly limited to one execution per day at a specified time.



Key Rules & Technical Details


  • Plan Restrictions: Minimum sync intervals are determined by your active subscription plan level.
  • Add Feed Schedule Limit: Hourly scheduling is not available for Add Product feeds. If needed, you can contact our executive team to request this feature.
  • Manual Upload Restriction: Automation is unavailable for feeds using the "Upload File" (Manual Upload) connection method. To enable scheduling, switch to an automated connection method such as URL, FTP, SFTP, or API.



Troubleshooting Steps


  • Issue: Set automation button or scheduling settings are missing/disabled → Solution: Verify that your feed is not using the Upload File connection type, as manual uploads do not support automated scheduling.
  • Issue: Hourly automation options are not showing for your feed → Solution: Check if the feed is an Add Products feed, as hourly schedules are not available for Add feeds.
  • Issue: Feed executes at unexpected times → Solution: Navigate to Manage Account → Language and Timezone and verify your global account timezone matches your intended operational timezone.
  • Issue: Feed execution is delayed or stuck in queue → Solution: Check the Traffic Indicator for your scheduled time slot. Adjust the execution time to a green slot (low traffic) or stagger start times if multiple feeds run simultaneously.
