How to generate WooCommerce API key (permission)

Follow these steps if you haven't created WooCommerce API keys before.

Before generating the WooCommerce API key, there is a simple step that needs to be considered:

a. Log in to your WordPress admin panel and go to Common Settings > Permalinks

b. Ensure that Permalinks is NOT Plain

Follow the steps below to generate the WooCommerce API keys:

Step 1: Go to WooCommerce > Settings

Step 2: On the Settings page navigate to the Advanced tab and select Rest API. Click Add key or Create an API key button.

Step 3: Fill up the form. Give a proper description of your key. Select your user, usually, it is you as an Admin or another user who has Admin privileges in your site. Also, set the permission to Read/Write. Click Generate API key button.

Step 4: Your API keys will be generated. We need both the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret. Copy both Consumer Key and Consumer Secret.

Step 5: Paste your WooCommerce Consumer and Secret keys into the syncX: Stock Sync page. If your store API becomes inactive, you'll need to re-enter new API keys.
