I keep getting the error: "The product couldn't be stocked at <location> because the inventory is managed by <location>. "


This error occurs when the product stocked in fulfilment services location and the inventory is managed by the fulfillment service.

Reason


  • When the product is stored in fulfilment service locations, it cannot be updated through Stock Sync. You may receive an error message.


Solution


  • To resolve this issue, you should change the inventory location to a standard location instead of a fulfillment service location. Stock Sync does not support fulfillment service locations and cannot update inventory from those locations. You can choose any other location to update your stock.
