How to Set Up Product Type Field

Go to App → Feed Settings → Step 2: Field Mapping

1. Add Field Mapping: Click Add more field to create a new mapping row.
2. Select Field: Choose Product Type from the Stock Sync field list.
3. Map Source Column: Select the corresponding column header from your feed file or set a fixed default value.
4. Save Feed: Click Save to apply your field mapping configuration.

This setting updates empty product type fields in your store without overwriting existing product types.

• Platform Exclusions: The Only update if the current product type is empty setting is supported strictly on Shopify Update feeds.
