What is the variant size and feed limit in Stock Sync?

Variant Size

  • Variant Size refers to the total number of product variations in your store. For instance, having 30,000 variations indicates a variant size of 30,000.
  • It can update 30,000 variants per feed, and if you have multiple feeds, each can also handle 30,000 variants at a time.

Subscription Variant Limits

Stock Sync plans include variant allowances. If a feed attempts to process more variants than your current plan allows, you will need to upgrade your subscription. This limit is separate from Shopify’s daily 1,000‑variant restriction for stores exceeding 50,000 total variants.

Feed Limit

Feed limits vary based on the subscription plan. To access more update feeds, you can upgrade your plan by navigating to Account > Billing > Manage plan and adjusting the feed usage count. In some cases, additional feeds can be enabled upon request if higher limits are needed or if a custom plan is required.

For reference, common plan configurations include:

  • The $22 (Pro) plan supports up to 3 update feeds.
  • Business plans allow customizable feed counts, and you can increase the number of feeds during subscription adjustment.
  • Enterprise plans start with 5 update feeds by default, but additional feeds can be manually increased by support when required.
  • Custom plans can be created to support higher feed counts (such as 7, 12, or 15+ feeds), depending on your needs.

If you have reached your feed limit on the highest plan, you may request additional update feeds from the support team. They can manually increase the limit for your store when needed.
