How does syncX: Stock Sync pricing and billing work?
Manage your billing preferences, buy add-product credits, and choose the right monthly subscription plan in Stock Sync. Understanding the difference between one-time credits and recurring monthly tiers ensures your catalog updates automatically without service interruptions.
How to Set Up Billing and Plans
Go to App → Settings → Billing
- Review Credit Balance: View your current credit balance on the Feed Detail page or inside the Billing section before running an Add feed.
- Purchase Credits: If you plan to add new catalog items, select a credit in billing page to purchase one-time credits.
- Select Monthly Plan: Choose a subscription tier based on your required number of update feeds, total store products, and sync schedule frequency.
Billing Smart Settings
1. Credits (For Adding New Products)
Credits are pay-as-you-go units used exclusively to import brand-new products into your store.

- Feed Type: Use the Add New Products feed (highlighted in yellow) to import new items.
- Consumption Rate: 1 credit = 1 successfully added product.
- Credit Visibility: Your available credit count is displayed directly on the Feed Detail page.
- Revert & Refund: If a product import fails or encounters an issue, you can revert the sync, and the consumed credits will be restored to your balance for reuse.
- Product Permanence: Products imported via Stock Sync remain permanently in your store, even if the app is uninstalled.
- Pricing: Credits start at $0.01 per credit.
2. Monthly Plans (For Continuous Product Updates & Export)
Monthly subscriptions cover automated catalog synchronizations, inventory quantity tracking, price adjustments, and data exports.

- Update Existing Products: The Update feed (marked in purple) continuously synchronizes inventory quantities, prices, descriptions, and other attributes.
- Product Matching: Automatically matches existing store variants using your unique product identifier, such as SKU or Barcode.
- Export Products: The Export feed (marked in green) generates product and inventory feeds to external channels or destinations.
- No Credits Required: Routine updates and exports do not consume credits; they are fully covered under your monthly subscription.
Monthly Plan Specifications & Automation
- Quota Metrics: Plans are calculated based on the number of active update feeds, total managed store products (variants), and scheduled sync frequency.
- Automated Scheduling: Configure feeds to run automatically in the background at designated daily or hourly intervals.
- Maximum Frequency: The highest available automated update frequency is every 1 hour.
Examples of Common Plan Configurations
Plan Level | Monthly Price | Update Feeds Included | Product Quota | Automated Sync Frequency |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Starter Plan | $17/month | 3 update feeds | 1,500 products | 1 automated sync per day |
Expert Plan | $31/month | 4 update feeds | 5,000 products | 2 automated syncs per day |
Scale Plan | $300/month | Unlimited feeds | Unlimited access | Highest frequency automation |
Key Rules & Technical Details
- Credits vs. Subscriptions:
- Credit Non-Expiration: Purchased credits do not expire at the end of each billing cycle; they remain in your account balance until consumed.
- Quota Usage Optimization: Use Store Product Filters in Step 3 of Update feeds to restrict scanning only to specific vendors or collections, ensuring your store remains within your plan's product limit.
- Failed Sync Protection: Unsuccessful product imports do not permanently deduct credits if the operation is reverted.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Issue: Add New Products feed stops running or skips rows → Solution: Check your credit balance on the Feed Detail page; purchase additional credits if the balance is zero.
- Issue: Update feed exceeds allowed product limit → Solution: Upgrade your monthly subscription plan to increase your product quota, or apply Store Product Filters in Step 3 to exclude inactive or unmanaged catalog items.
- Issue: Quantities are not changing during an Add feed → Solution: Add feeds are strictly designed to create new products; configure an Update Existing Products feed to synchronize stock levels and prices continuously.
