How to export inventory from one Shopify store to another?
Issue:
Need to export inventory from one Shopify store to another.
Explanation:
Stock Sync does not export products directly from one store into another. Instead, inventory is transferred by importing data into the destination store using a Shopify Store connection.
How to sync inventory between two Shopify stores:
- Install syncX: Stock Sync on both Shopify stores.
- In the source (sender) store, copy the Public Token from Manage Account.
- In the destination (receiver) store, create a new feed.
- Select Shopify Store (requires Stock Sync app) as the connection type.
- Enter the Public Token from the source store.
- Map the required inventory fields (e.g. Quantity).
- Run the feed to import and update inventory in the destination store.
Optional setting:
- Disable Auto Publish in the feed settings if products should be imported as Drafts instead of being published immediately.
To learn more about this connection method, refer here: Shopify store (require Stock Sync app)
Note:
- Products are not sent directly between stores.
- All transfers are handled by importing data into the destination store using the Shopify Store connection and Public Token.
