Is Stock Sync ONLY updates inventory from one main store to sub-store/s? (Single Direction)

The inventory update process only moves inventory from the main store to the sub-store in a single direction.

It works by copying the inventory data from the main store and pasting it to the sub-store for products with matching identifiers such as SKU or barcode. However, any changes made to the inventory in the sub-store will not be reflected back to the main store in real time.
