How can I upgrade my Stock Sync plan to get more variant limits?
To increase your variant limit in Stock Sync, you can request a plan upgrade based on your store’s needs. Stock Sync supports both standard and customized plans, and variant limits can be increased depending on the chosen plan.
The subscription plan’s product/variant limit and Add Products credits are separate:
- The subscription covers ongoing updates to existing products or variants and is based on factors such as total variant count, number of feeds, and sync frequency.
- Credits are used only when an Add Products feed adds new products or new variants. Each new product consumes 1 credit, and credits are separate from the monthly subscription.
To determine how much capacity you need, compare the store’s current variant count with the plan limit shown in the update feed log. For example, if the store has 69,433 variants and the limit is 30,000, it exceeds the limit by 39,433 variants; the selected limit must be at least 69,433 for the feed to run. A catalog of approximately 150,000 products therefore requires a plan or custom variant limit that supports at least 150,000 variants; the exact price depends on the required feeds and sync frequency. Check the current pricing page or request a custom proposal for the exact cost.
To upgrade:
• Check your current plan and variant usage under Account > Billing in the Stock Sync dashboard.
• Check the update feed log to compare the store’s total variants with the current limit. The amount to increase is the total variant count minus the current limit. For example, 69,433 variants with a 30,000 limit means the store is 39,433 variants over the limit, so the selected limit must be at least 69,433.
• If you need a higher variant limit, contact support and provide your required limit. Support can confirm available standard or customized plans and any changes in update frequency.
• After the upgrade is applied, re-run the affected update feed if it does not resume automatically.
• If switching to the latest version (V6), downgrade to the Free plan first, then subscribe to the new plan after support enables the upgrade.
Once the upgrade is applied, your feeds will continue running normally with the new variant allowance.
If your product updates stop running because the variant limit has been exceeded, support can temporarily increase the limit on customized plans. Contact support to adjust the limit and re-run the affected feeds.
For customized upgrades, support may also provide a direct plan proposal link for the required variant limit. After subscribing to the plan, support can manually adjust your variant allowance if the exact limit is not available in the billing page. This includes cases where the user exceeds the variant limit or requires a custom threshold before the feed can resume syncing.
