How do I ensure the Product Metafield is mapped correctly in Stock Sync?

To ensure Stock Sync updates a Product Metafield, you must explicitly map that metafield in your feed’s field mapping. If the Product Metafield is not mapped, Stock Sync will not update it, even if similarly named Variant Metafields are mapped and updating correctly.

Check your field mapping and verify that the Product Metafield (e.g., backorder_override_text) is assigned to a specific column in your feed. If it is not mapped, Stock Sync will leave it unchanged while still updating any Variant Metafields that are mapped.
