How do I resolve issues with stock feed updates?

Common issues with stock feeds include missing or blank fields, incorrect mapping, or updates waiting in the queue.

Here is how you can quickly resolve them:

  • Fixing Blank Stock Fields: If a feed skips a product, check if its identifier or stock field in the file is blank. If the supplier leaves the stock field completely empty instead of writing "0", add a Quantity rule in your settings: If Empty → Then 0.

  • Verifying Column Mapping: Ensure the correct column header is mapped. If your supplier changed their file format (e.g., switching from EAN_Code to UPC_Code), your feed will read blank data until you update the mapping. Only map the fields you intend to update to avoid accidental overwrites.

  • Understanding "Queuing" Status: If your feed status shows as "Queuing", it is waiting for its turn. For email feeds, it may be waiting for the next scheduled run based on your plan's frequency. Otherwise, it simply means another feed in your account is currently running and this one will start automatically as soon as the active one finishes.

  • Check Variant Limit: If your store exceeds the variant limit for your plan, Stock Sync will stop updating products. Increase your plan limit or reduce variants, then run the feed again.
