How to set the current date-time for a date metafield?
To update the metafield date, two steps need to be followed:
Navigate to Settings > Custom Data > Products/Variants > Add Definition.
Select the Metafield option in Stock Sync.
Choose the field set up in Shopify admin.
Use the static value option and add the value as {{ current_date }} so it will take the current date.
