I keep getting an error "Fail to auto detect file format"


Reason


  • Stock Sync auto-detect failed to detect the file format.


Solution


  • Please make sure you have specified the file format in the Feed Settings Step and also the file encoding.


  • If the file cannot be accessed by Stock Sync (for example due to supplier IP restrictions), request your supplier to whitelist Stock Sync’s IP address or provide a downloadable version of the file.


  • If the feed URL loads an HTML page instead of the expected file, download the file directly from the supplier and verify the actual file format, then manually select the correct type (XML, CSV, HTML Table, etc.).
