Products are uploaded without image and seeing processing error


The error shown in the image above indicates a problem with the image URL after inserting it in Shopify.


Reason


Some of the image URLs are not supported in Shopify. Image URLs must be publicly accessible without login, Google Drive links or restricted CDN URLs will fail. In some cases, the supplier server may be overloaded or return errors, causing Shopify to stop processing images, especially when many SKUs or images are processed at once. Additionally, images hosted behind Cloudflare or other security protections may block Shopify’s automated download requests, resulting in a Media processing failed error.


Solution


The user can set up using a CDN/Proxy URL to use those images that are not working in Shopify.
