What are the correct connection settings for integrating an XML feed in StockSync when authentication is passed as query parameters?

When your supplier provides an XML endpoint that uses GET requests with authentication passed through query parameters (for example: UserName, Password, CustomerNumber, LastUpdate, etc.), select URL as the connection type in Stock Sync.

Do not use Basic Auth. Instead, insert the full endpoint URL including all required query parameters. Stock Sync will fetch the XML directly using that URL.

For XML structure settings, leave Parent Node and Variant Node blank and enable Auto‑Detect, allowing Stock Sync to determine the correct structure from the feed. This configuration avoids errors such as “no feed found” or empty results and ensures that the data loads properly into the mapping stage.
