What should I do if a variant does not show up in the product feed?

A variant may not appear in your product feed for a few common reasons:


• Variant Group (Smart Settings > Merge Variants) works only in the Add Product feed, not the Update feed. If you need new variants to be auto‑created, this logic must be applied in the Add feed.


• The missing variant often has inconsistent or missing variant option values (for example, a color or size field like Hausfarbe being empty or changed in the source file). Stock Sync cannot create or group a variant if the option value does not match the existing product’s structure.


• Feed filters (such as excluding products without images or excluding specific statuses) can cause certain variants to be skipped. Removing these filters temporarily allows blocked variants to be imported.


If a variant is missing, check:

  1. That the variant exists in the supplier file with matching option values.
  2. That your Add feed has Merge Variants enabled.
  3. That no feed filters are unintentionally excluding the variant.


Once corrected, rerun the Add Product feed to create the missing variants.
