What should I do if my feed shows a different product quantity than my Shopify inventory?

If the quantity in your feed does not match the quantity shown in Shopify, check the following settings in your feed profile:

• Verify the Quantity Smart Setting. If it is set to Add/Deduct with existing quantity, the feed will add to or subtract from the current Shopify quantity instead of replacing it. Use Overwrite existing quantity if you want the feed to match Shopify exactly.

• Confirm the location assigned to the feed. Each feed updates one specific location. If multiple feeds update the same SKU in different locations, quantities may look inconsistent.

• Check whether the product exists in the feed. If the SKU is missing and you expect it to reset to 0, ensure that your feed’s Out‑of‑Stock/Not‑in‑Feed strategy is enabled.

• If multiple suppliers update the same SKU, be aware that quantities may be combined across feeds depending on your configuration.

These steps usually resolve cases where Shopify shows a quantity that differs from the feed.
