What should I do if my inventory feed returns 0 quantities?

When your inventory feed returns 0 quantities, Stock Sync may trigger a zero-inventory safety warning, such as “Warning - update halt: detected over 80% inventory set to zero.” This occurs when the system detects that an unusually large proportion of products would be updated to quantity 0. It can be caused by an empty or incomplete feed, incorrect quantity-field mapping, or filters unintentionally excluding items.

To resolve this:

• Check that your feed file is not empty and contains valid quantity values.
• Review your mapping to ensure the Quantity field is mapped to the correct column.
• Verify that no filters are unintentionally excluding items from the feed.
• Review the change log or run a Preview Sync to confirm whether the proposed zero-quantity updates are correct before applying them.

If the zero quantities are expected, go to Account > Profile > Quantity Zero Alert and adjust the alert threshold. This is a general setting that applies to all feeds. If the feed still imports incorrect values after these checks, run the sync again and contact support for further investigation.
