What should I do if some product stock levels are not updating?

If certain product stock levels are not updating, check the following common causes:

• Ensure the product identifiers (such as SKU or Product Code) in your store exactly match those in the feed. Missing items or mismatched codes prevent updates.

• Verify field mapping in your feed. If the supplier changes a column name or includes leading zeros in product codes, the feed may not match correctly until the mapping is updated.

• Check for filters or tags applied in the feed settings. Products filtered out (for example missing a required tag) will not update.

• If you have multiple Shopify locations, remember that each feed updates only one assigned location. If inventory is not updating for a specific warehouse, ensure you have a separate feed configured for that location.

• If products do not appear in the feed at all, Stock Sync will treat them as unmatched. Depending on your Out of Stock strategy, they may be set to 0 or archived.

• For new products, ensure you are using an Add Product feed. Update feeds only modify existing items.

If you fix the mapping or filters, run a test sync or wait for the next scheduled update to confirm that stock starts updating normally.
