What steps should I take if my supplier feed breaks and causes stock discrepancies?

If a supplier feed breaks and pushes incorrect stock levels, Stock Sync cannot automatically revert your inventory to a previous day. The system does not store historical snapshots. However, you can manually restore previous quantities using a changelog from an earlier sync.


To revert inventory levels:


• Download the change log from a previous successful sync.
• Create a new Update feed using the Upload File connection method.
• Upload the downloaded change log file.
• In Step 2 (Matching Columns), map the Quantity field to “Before Qty.”
• Run the feed to restore the previous inventory values.


If you do not have a changelog, you will need to update quantities manually or re‑upload a clean supplier file from before the issue occurred.
