Why are my price updates not reflecting after running a feed?
Price updates may not apply if the product’s inventory location in the store does not match the location selected in your feed settings. For example, if a product is assigned to a specific location in Shopify but your feed is set to update a different location, the price will not update.
Additionally, if the Price or Cost fields are removed from the feed mapping, Stock Sync will no longer overwrite those values. This can stop unexpected price changes or reversions.
To resolve issues:
• Confirm the product’s inventory location in Shopify.
• Ensure your feed is set to update the same location.
• Check that the Price and Cost fields are correctly mapped if you want them updated.
• If a price still shows incorrectly after running the feed, run the update feed again and provide a sample SKU so support can diagnose the issue.
• If your store contains duplicate SKUs, make sure the option to update duplicate SKUs is enabled in the feed settings, otherwise Stock Sync may skip those items.
Additional checks:
• Use Preview Sync to confirm the expected price before running the full update.
• Ensure all columns referenced in your price conditions exist in the feed; missing columns can cause the condition to fail and the price to remain unchanged.
To force an immediate price update:
• Open the feed and click Start Process to run the update manually.
Additional scenarios that can affect price updates:
• When using multiple feeds (for example, separate inventory and pricing CSV files), ensure both feeds map the correct SKU so updates apply properly.
• If you use price conditions to adjust prices (such as *1.15 for a 15% markup), make sure the formula is set in the Price field’s Smart Settings.
• If you need to exclude certain products—such as discounted items—from price updates, use the “Don’t update Price when…” filter based on tags, vendor, or product type.
• If your store contains duplicate SKUs, enable the option to update duplicate SKUs in feed settings so price changes are not skipped.
