Why are only some products uploading and how can I fix it?
If only part of your feed is uploading, it usually means certain rows do not meet the feed’s mapping or filter requirements. Common reasons include:
• Filters excluding products, such as excluding rows with SIZE = NA, missing images, or ITEM_STATUS = OBSOLETE.
• Blank variant option values. If a variant option field is empty, Shopify will reject the product.
• Missing or inconsistent grouping fields (e.g., missing style code). Without a consistent identifier for grouping, variants import as separate products or fail.
To resolve this:
- Review your Incoming Feed Filters to check which products are being excluded.
- Ensure all variant option fields contain valid values.
- If your products require variant grouping, ensure your supplier provides a consistent grouping field (such as a shared style code).
- If needed, temporarily remove filters to import the affected products, then restore the filters afterward.
These steps help ensure all eligible products are imported correctly.
