Why is my file upload not proceeding or appears stalled?

An upload may appear stalled or fail to proceed for several common reasons. First, check if a product‑limit option was selected, such as processing only a few products; this can cause the system to stop after uploading a small number. Ensure that you have enough credits available, as uploads will stop immediately once credits run out.

If you are using filters such as Tags, SKU match, or other criteria, make sure the products in your store actually match those filters. A mismatch will result in zero products being processed. For email-based feeds, the file may not process until the next scheduled run, or the feed might not have been received due to provider or connection issues.

If the interface shows an “error list” but the file is empty, this can be a temporary UI issue. In such cases, verify whether any products were actually updated and contact support if needed.

If the upload stays in a loading state for an unusually long time (for example, more than 20–30 minutes) and no products are processed, this may be caused by very large files or memory limits. For example, a 101 MB XML file can remain loading without updating any products even after a memory upgrade. In such cases, the feed may require technical investigation or XML mapping, including verification of the XML parent node and product identifier. Contact support with the feed link and file details so the feed can be checked.
