Why is my product cost price showing incorrectly (e.g., $1 instead of $1,000)?

If your product cost price displays incorrectly (for example, showing $1 instead of $1,000), this can happen when the cost value in your feed includes a comma. Some feeds format high-cost values like $1,000 or $1,200, and the system may incorrectly split the value at the comma, importing only the part before it.

To fix the issue:

• Check your feed and confirm whether the cost column contains comma‑formatted currency values.
• Re-run the update feed after ensuring the value is detected correctly.
• If the issue persists, share a sample SKU so the team can investigate and confirm the proper metafield mapping.

This behavior is most commonly seen with higher-priced items where commas are present in the supplier feed.
