How to update Collection of a product?
The Collection is only available for adding new products to store. Stock Sync does NOT sync the Collection field for existing products
However, we suggest this method that could help you:
- Add tags to products. For example, shoes.
- Go to Shopify admin -> Products -> Collection
- Change the Collection type to Automated and add Conditions as follows.
- Add the Tags field in the Field Mapping.
- Start updating the products.
Additional Notes
- You only need one update feed to add or replace product tags. Smart Collections in Shopify will automatically include the products based on the updated tags.
- A single product can belong to multiple automated collections if it contains multiple tags that match different collection rules.
- Stock Sync can overwrite tags or add only new tags depending on your update feed settings.
