Shopify store (require Stock Sync app)

the || Please note that to synchronize new products and inventory from both stores, you must create a feed within the receiving store.

Store to store supported metafields. Learn more about metafields here.

If you are dropshipping from another (Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Wix) store to your own Shopify Store, you may follow the steps below:

Ensure that both the DropShipper Store and your store installed Stock Sync.

Request Drop shipper to install Stock Sync on their store since they provide the stock info. They don't need to subscribe to any paid plans, they can always be optional into the Free plan.

Once they have been installed, let them know to provide you with Public Token ( Account > Advance)

Once the above 2 steps are completed, we may move on to the settings on Retailer Store (your store):

The Shopify store (require the Stock Sync app) connection method only updates the products in a single direction.

Store to Store connection limitation and how to overcome can refer below to know more:

(a) When the source store removes one image from a product, it will not auto remove the image in destination store - It can RESET all images by enabling the clearing all images in the image field
(b) Adding or removing variants from the products in the source store - Please get in touch support@stock-sync.com for the beta version
(c) Add or remove tags - Reset all tags in the tag field
(d) Sync all locations - Requires one feed per location

Feed Manager (Step 1)

Go to Setup New Feed > Choose:

add a new product (to add new products to your store)
update existing products (to update the inventory of products that have been added to your store)

Search for  the Shopify store (require Stock Sync app) and click Confirmation. You will see the below screenshot:

Please input the Public Token.

To connect to specific products in the specified locations, please click on the Add Param to input it.

For example, you want to add the location_id -> XXXXXXXXXX ( How to get location_id?)

To update or import only active products from the source store, you can use this option. Enter status as the parameter and set the value to active. For different statuses, you can use the values draft, active, or archived.

Click Next to continue to the Matching Column (Step 2).

Matching Column (Step 2)

Refer to the screenshot below for a detailed guide on mapping Quantity and Price fields (optional).

If you need to map additional fields, we’ve provided a sample header for reference.

Note:
Please do NOT change any pre-mapped settings (e.g., Variant SKU > SKU). Doing so will prevent the process from working correctly.
When updating the Quantity Field, it will only use the Available Quantity, regardless of whether the On Hand Quantity from the second store was chosen. Instead, it will only consider the Available Quantity from the first store.

The update feed displays all available field mappings. You can select the fields you wish to update and delete the ones you don’t need.

Once you’ve mapped the required fields, click Next to proceed.

Advance Settings (Step 4)

For a deeper understanding of advanced settings, refer to this guide. If you're using these settings for the first time, feel free to skip this step and click Finish.

Note:
If your main store product is active but unpublished, it will be set to draft.
If your main store product is active and published, it will remain active.
