What is the difference between the Free plan and the Expert plan?
Free Plan
The Free Plan is limited and designed for basic, manual usage.
- Manual updates only
- 1 active feed (Update or Export)
- Up to 2,000 products/variants processed
- Add feeds do not count toward the subscription feed limit, but adding products uses credits
Expert Plan
The Expert Plan is a flexible, usage-based paid plan. It starts at $10/month and scales depending on your configuration. The $10 price is the starting tier, not a price for every Expert configuration.
Key capabilities:
- Automatic scheduled updates (syncing)
- Supports from 1 to 30 update feeds/suppliers
- Advanced pricing rules, including currency conversion and product-specific price conditions
- Priority support access for troubleshooting and setup guidance
- Supports from 5,000 to 50,000 products
- Includes 5,000 free credits for adding products in the base tier
- Pricing scales based on:
- Number of feeds
- Product count
- Update frequency (e.g., every 12 hours, every 2 hours, etc.)
The base $10/month price includes:
- 1 feed
- 12-hour sync interval
- Up to 5,000 products
- 5,000 free credits for adding products
As usage increases (more feeds, higher product counts, or faster sync frequency), the plan price increases accordingly. For example, selecting 5 feeds and 15,000 SKUs will cost more than the $10 starting tier. Use the pricing calculator at https://www.syncx.com/pricing to view the price for your selected configuration.
Example pricing scenarios
- 1 feed, 5,000 products, 12-hour sync (2 updates/day) = $10/month (base tier)
- 1 feed, 10,000 variants, 2-hour sync (12 updates/day) = $14.67/month
- 1 feed, 15,000 products, 1-hour sync (24 updates/day) = $19/month
- 7 feeds, 15,000 products, 12-hour sync = $56/month
These examples illustrate how the plan dynamically adjusts based on your selected configuration.
Feed counting: Subscription limits apply to active feeds. Add feeds are not counted toward the subscription feed limit; they use credits when adding products. Remove feeds also do not count toward the feed limit.
When switching from Free to a paid plan: Existing field mappings and other feed configuration remain unchanged, but previously configured automation must be re-enabled after the paid plan is activated.
